The training package was developed by Hatfield Consultants, and aims to develop capacity in remote sensing for WWF, Thua Thien Hue Province and GCP partners. This training package consists of a training manual and training data, which is included in the Green Corridor Earth Observation and Geographic Information Toolkit website. The training is conducted using the OpenEV image processing software.

Sample satellite imagery explored in this manual includes:

1. RADARSAT-1 SAR – Several beam modes;
2. Envisat ASAR – Multi-polarization;
3. SPOT-5 HRV – Multi-spectral optical;
4. Ikonos – High resolution multi-spectral optical; and
5. Landsat TM/ETM – Multi-spectral optical.

Before you can use the Tutorial, you need to you need to download the data to your computer hard drive.

• Navigate to the \TrainingData directory
