The Green Corridor Earth Observation and Geographic Information Toolkit website includes three software packages that will enable you to access the information on the disc and begin to explore the landscape of the Green Corridor.
Adobe Acrobat Reader – this software allows a user to access and read documents in Portable Document Format (PDF); (also available at http://www.adobe.com)
ESRI ArcReader – this desktop software package allows a user to open maps provided in the Green Corridor GIS Atlas; and (also available at http://www.esri.com)
Open EV – this desktop Open Source image viewing and analysis application allows users to view satellite imagery and GIS data. The website also includes a user manual and data that users can open in OpenEV. (also available at http://openev.sourceforge.net/)

Fragstats is a specialized GIS data analysis tool, which was used to generate landscape maps of forest integrity, using the EO-STEM forest classification as an input. A short document was produced showing the results and maps produced in the fragmentation analysis.

QGIS – A free, open source GIS application, which can be downloaded from www.qgis.org
PCI Geomatica FreeView – A free viewer provided by the PCI software vendor that allows users to view imagery and GIS data. This software can be downloaded from the PCI Geomatica website
ArcExplorer – A free GIS viewer provided by ESRI, allowing users to view and perform basic viewing and quireies on GIS data. This software can be downloaded from the ESRI website
