This section of the website enables the viewing of spatial data and maps created under the EO-STEM Project and Green Corridor Project.
Access to the Geographic Information System is provided using a desktop software application called ArcReader, which is produced by ESRI. ArcReader has been used to publish high-quality maps of the Green Corridor and Thua Thien Hue Province, which are interactive – you can zoom and pan around the maps, and view different map layers in combination. Some data are also provided on the CD-ROM, but many of the datasets are only viewable using the ArcReader application. Maps of the Green Corridor and Thua Thien Hue Province are also provided as JPEGs for easy printing.
If you don’t have ArcReader installed, follow the instructions provided in the ArcReader section, to install it on your computer. If you already have ArcReader installed, proceed to the How to Use ArcReader.
Once you have completed the installation and are familiar with how to operate the software, you can access the maps provided in the GIS Atlas.
