Kam’mwamba AIDS Supportive, Orphan Care and Community Development Organisation, (KASOCO), is a community based organization formed in November 2004 in order to respond to HIV-AIDS pandemic in Malawi.  KASOCO was registered on 17 October 2005 at the Ntcheu District Welfare Office.

In the initiation of its work, KASOCO focused on Group Village Headmen Kam’mwamba I and II, in Traditional Authority Phambala, in Ntcheu District of Malawi.  This stage covered 30 villages comprising Group Village Headmen Kam’mwamba I and II.  Within the year of its creation, KASOCO was obliged to expand its outreach to the whole area of TA Phambala.  As it consolidates its experience and outreach in TA Phambala, the organisation will expand to other areas of Ntcheu District and Malawi.
