ImageA monitoring system was implemented by partners for the Green Corridor project; results have been compiled into a report and an evaluation of the log-frame; technical reports are included in a CD Rom package and can be downloaded from this website.
Monitoring included the following :
  • Forest cover change through analysis of SPOT satellite images in 2003 and 2007.
  • Long-term monitoring of flagship species, including primates, in four large forest plots
  • Fixed-point photography along the Ho Chi Minh highway
  • Attitude survey of local communities
  • Tracker tool for protected area and good forest management
  • Tracker tool for community forest management
